What is the process to get a product developed?

1. Complete the product development brief.
2. Create the initial formulation.
3. Source suppliers.

6. Complete all nutritional panelling and regulatory research.
7. Final handover."
How can I get my existing product manufactured?
Once we have gone through your formulation, we will need a sample. Once we have gone through everything, we will create a sample for you, to confirm you’re happy with the formulation and our suppliers. Afterwards, it’s simply a matter of sending through your packaging, and we will get the product manufactured. The lead time will depend on the product type.
What is your MOQ?
Our MOQ depends on the product type.
How do you ensure the safety and quality of the food products you develop?
During the product development process, we work in a sterilised kitchen ensuring all quality control and safety of the samples.
During the manufacturing process, every facility has stringent quality control and has passed all FSANZ or TGA audits, with at a minimum a HACCP certificate.
What types of packaging solutions do you specialize in?
The packaging we recommend depends on the product type. But our manufacturers work with almost all packaging types.
Can you assist with packaging material sourcing?
We have a network of packaging suppliers with a large range of packaging types available. We can introduce you or source the packaging directly for you.
How do you ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacturing processes?
We work with you to ensure the products develop meet your desired price point.
Do you provide guidance on labeling and compliance with food regulations?
We can work with your team to ensure all labelling on your products meets food and TGA regulatory standards.
Can you help with shelf-life testing and stability studies?
We can direct you to external consulting services that specialise in shelf life testing and other lab testing services.
Can you accommodate specific dietary requirements or preferences in product development?
When developing new products, we can certainly accommodate specific certifications or dietary preferences.
How do you handle intellectual property rights for developed food products?
Our clients keep all IP created during the product development process.
What is the typical timeline for developing a new food product from concept to market?
Depending on the product type, it can take as little as 3 months to bring a new product to market. However, the average is 5-6 months.
Can you assist with distribution and logistics for getting products to market?
We can introduce you to some of our distributors and logistics providers we work with.
We also offer ongoing mentoring and consulting services to ensure you food business continues to grow.

What type of food products can you get manufactured?

What are your product development prices?
Our product development starts at $1.2k and depending on the product type, can go up to $5k per SKU.
Do you offer support for supply chain management and sourcing ingredients?
Absolutely. We can help you source any ingredient you’re after, as well as help ensure your supply chain is secure.
Can you guide us through exporting food products to other countries?
Yes, the exporting process is complex but something we have done before. We are happy to jump on a call with you and take you through the process.
